On December 3, 2002, after a vote by the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), Shanghai, China, was awarded the right to host the 2010 World Expo. On December 18, 2007, the core construction projects of the Expo site officially began. The first project to break ground was the China Pavilion, "The Crown of the East," the core building of the Shanghai World Expo. The Shanghai World Expo site was divided into five functional zones: A, B, C, D, and E. Zone A mainly housed some Asian national pavilions; Zone B mainly housed the Urban People Pavilion, Urban Life Pavilion, Urban Earth Pavilion, as well as some Asian national pavilions, Oceania national pavilions, and international organization pavilions; Zone C mainly housed European, American, and African national pavilions; Zone D mainly housed the Urban Footprints Pavilion and corporate pavilions; and Zone E mainly housed the Urban Future Pavilion, corporate pavilions, and the Urban Best Practices Area.

As one of the chosen suppliers of welding consumables, Shanghai Fengling Welds once again

fulfilled our social responsibility and upheld our industry reputation by supplying a substantial amount of welding consumables to every pavilion in the Shanghai World Expo Park.  We effectively supported the project's progress and construction, strictly adhering to world-class construction quality and technical support standards, thus ensuring the successful completion of the project.
